Thanks for the great intro!
Paula Collins is an Academic Department Associate or ADA at UW Eau Claire. She works with the department chair in the scheduling of classes and is the first point of contact for students. She manages departmental budgets and grants, and coordinates student evaluation of courses and instructors. She is also the website coordinator. Currently, she is using Dreamweaver to update her department’s website, but will be switching to Common Spot. In addition, Paula serves as the operations manager for the speech, language, and hearing clinic.
For those who have read her profile on our classlist, you might be wondering what constitutes an “apple peeling contest”. Being similarly curious, I was able to find out from Paula that the contestant must remove the apple peel entirely from the apple without breaking the peel. How did she do it? She used Swiss army knives to score around the apple first and then went back and removed the peel. Paula is now a retired champion of the Bayfield Apple Fest!

Paula, I will give you thorough feedback this week, but thank you for staying so 'on top' of all in this course. ~ Datta Kaur
